Fastest Waveform ever Photographed

Interesting science bit,. We have successfully photographed wave,s that were moving at 99.997% of the speed of light. for those wondering what this has to do with anything, it's a process towards table-top particle accelerators. current particle accelerators, can be as large as a football field. Particle accelerators, have many many uses in both research and medical fields, however, with them currently being miles long constructs, there are only a few in the country, and various hospitals, research labs, etc, must jockey for time ,at one of a handful of accelerators. making a particle accelerator, that is the seize, of say, a kitchen table, would allow most facilities to have their own accelerator. This could lead to much faster, research, discoveries & treatments.

Recently Federal agents, went to Newark international airport, and attempted to sneak, 22 "security risks" such as bombs and guns, past screeners. Newark security failed 20 of he 22 tests. Apparently none of the items were disguised as lip gloss or insulin. Read below for more

Amarok is One of the most widely used, & loved music players in the open source world, it runs on Linux (kde), and has just about everything a music lover could want. it automatically downloads song lyrics, fro ma free service, automatically looks up banks on Wikipedia, retrieves cover art, does ratings, categories, mood-themes. you name it.
And now it's going to allow automatic download of music, similar to ITunes, but without the DRM and other BS. the new music store will sell Creative Commons licensed, music, including artists from the rather open label Magnatune.
